VE - Training Session

VE Training Session – April 30, 2026

We will be holding a training session for VE’s on Thursday the 30th at 1800.  With the technician exam going digital the  1st of June, we need to change the way we test our applicants. We will be going over how to conduct these sessions. How to register and what hardware is required.

Before the session, please go to examtools.dev and register with your VE credentials.  This will allow you to participate in the non-live session.  You will also need to go to examtools.org and register again to be able to participate in live testing sessions.  Both registrations look identical, but must be completed.

For the training session, please bring a laptop or note pad with a key pad with an = sign, as this is needed to quickly get through the exam.

Summer Field Day

Get ready for our annual Field Day events. Our summer field day is the last weekend in June. Contesting begins at 2pm on Saturday and runs until 2pm on Sunday. We usually set up on Friday, starting at 1pm. Those wishing to spend the weekend on the mountain, are encouraged to do so. Campers and tents are allowed.

June 27-28, 2026

West End Fair

The fair will be upon us before we know it. Once again we will be looking for volunteers to host our booth. A signup sheet will be available at the April meeting. Choose early and pick the day and time slot you’d like to have.

We want to thank everyone that participated last year. We had a good turnout and it looked good to those hosting the fair.

Keep up the good work. We appreciate the interest you’ve shown in the past. As long as we continue to participate, we’ll have no problem keeping our booth, inside the Everett Building.
